प्रातकाल सरऊ करि मज्जन। बैठहिं सभाँ संग द्विज सज्जन॥ बेद पुरान बसिष्ट बखानहिं। सुनहिं राम जद्यपि सब जानहिं॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
prātakāla sarau kari majjana। baiṭhahiṃ sabhāṃ saṅga dvija sajjana॥ beda purāna basiṣṭha bakhānahiṃ। sunahiṃ rāma jadyapi saba jānahiṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
In the morning, after bathing in the Sarayu, they sit in the assembly with the learned and the good. Vashishtha recites the Vedas and Puranas, and Rama listens, though He already knows everything.
