Meaning
It remains, day and night, in the form of supreme radiance by itself. It needs no lamp, oil, or wick. Thus, on the one hand, the jewel shines naturally; on the other, the poverty of delusion does not come near it, and the wind of greed cannot extinguish that jeweled lamp, for the jewel is itself of the nature of light and does not shine by the help of anything else.
