मोर दास कहाइ नर आसा। करइ तौ कहहु कहा बिस्वासा॥ बहुत कहउँ का कथा बढ़ाई। एहि आचरन बस्य मैं भाई॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

mora dāsa kahāi nara āsā। karai tau kahahu kahā bisvāsā॥ bahuta kahauṃ kā kathā baṛhāī। ehi ācarana basya maiṃ bhāī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

If someone calls himself my servant yet still seeks favors from men, then tell me, what sort of faith does he have? In other words, his trust in me is very weak. Why should I elaborate further? O brothers, I am bound by this very code of conduct.
