बिबिधि भाँति मोहि मुनि समुझावा। निर्गुन मत मम हृदयँ न आवा॥ पुनि मैं कहेउँ नाइ पद सीसा। सगुन उपासन कहहु मुनीसा॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

bibidhi bhāṃti mohi muni samujhāvā। nirguna mata mama hṛdayaṃ na āvā॥ puni maiṃ kaheuṃ nāi pada sīsā। saguna upāsana kahahu munīsā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

The sage explained to me in many ways, but the doctrine of the attributeless did not enter my heart. Then I bowed my head at the sage's feet and said, 'O great sage, tell me the worship of the with-attributes Lord.'
