अवध प्रभाव जान तब प्रानी। जब उर बसहिं रामु धनुपानी॥ सो कलिकाल कठिन उरगारी। पाप परायन सब नर नारी॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
avadha prabhāva jāna taba prānī। jaba ura basahiṃ rāmu dhanupānī॥ so kalikāla kaṭhina uragārī। pāpa parāyana saba nara nārī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
A being knows the glory of Ayodhya only when Rama, bow in hand, dwells in the heart. O Garuda, that Kali age was indeed severe; in it all men and women were devoted to sin.
