तब लगि हृदयँ बसत खल नाना। लोभ मोह मच्छर मद माना॥ जब लगि उर न बसत रघुनाथा। धरें चाप सायक कटि भाथा॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

taba lagi hṛdayaṃ basata khala nānā। lobha moha macchara mada mānā॥ jaba lagi ura na basata raghunāthā। dhareṃ cāpa sāyaka kaṭi bhāthā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Greed, delusion, envy, intoxication, and pride, along with many other evils, dwell in the heart until Lord Raghunath, bearing bow and arrows and a quiver at his waist, takes residence there.
