शान्तं शाश्वतमप्रमेयमनघं निर्वाणशान्तिप्रदं ब्रह्माशम्भुफणीन्द्रसेव्यमनिशं वेदान्तवेद्यं विभुम्। रामाख्यं जगदीश्वरं सुरगुरुं मायामनुष्यं हरिं वन्देऽहं करुणाकरं रघुवरं भूपालचूडामणिम्॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
śāntaṃ śāśvatamaprameyamanaghaṃ nirvāṇaśāntipradaṃ brahmāśambhuphaṇīndrasevyamaniśaṃ vedāntavedyaṃ vibhum। rāmākhyaṃ jagadīśvaraṃ suraguruṃ māyāmanuṣyaṃ hariṃ vande'haṃ karuṇākaraṃ raghuvaraṃ bhūpālacūḍāmaṇim॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
I bow to that Lord of the universe, named Rama, who is peaceful, eternal, beyond measure, sinless, and the giver of supreme peace and liberation; who is ever served by Brahma, Shiva, and Shesha; who is known through Vedanta, all-pervading, greatest among the gods, appearing as a human through His divine power, remover of all sins, ocean of compassion, best of the Raghu line, and the crown jewel among kings.
Context
This is Shloka 1 from Sundar Kand, in the episode “Auspicious Invocation”. The episode describes the opening invocation praising Rama and Hanuman with devotion and surrender at the start of Sundarkand.
