कह प्रभु सखा बूझिऐ काहा। कहइ कपीस सुनहु नरनाहा॥ जानि न जाइ निसाचर माया। कामरूप केहि कारन आया॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kaha prabhu sakhā būjhiai kāhā। kahai kapīsa sunahu naranāhā॥ jāni na jāi nisācara māyā। kāmarūpa kehi kārana āyā॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
The Lord said, "Friend, what do you think?" Sugriva replied, "Listen, O Lord of men: the illusory power of a demon cannot be known. This one, who can assume any form at will, has come for some reason."
