जग महुँ सखा निसाचर जेते। लछिमनु हनइ निमिष महुँ तेते॥ जौं सभीत आवा सरनाईं। रखिहउँ ताहि प्रान की नाईं॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jaga mahuṃ sakhā nisācara jete। lachimanu hanai nimiṣa mahuṃ tete॥ jaũ sabhīta āvā saranāīṃ। rakhihauṃ tāhi prāna kī nāīṃ॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
"For, friend, as many demons as there are in the world, Lakshmana can slay them all in a moment. And if he has come to Me in fear, I shall keep him as dear as life itself."
