यह बृत्तांत दसानन सुनेऊ। अति बिषाद पुनि पुनि सिर धुनेऊ॥ ब्याकुल कुंभकरन पहिं आवा। बिबिध जतन करि ताहि जगावा॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
yaha bṛttāṃta dasānana suneū। ati biṣāda puni puni sira dhuneū॥ byākula kumbhakarana pahiṃ āvā। bibidha jatana kari tāhi jagāvā॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
When Dashanan heard this report, he became overwhelmed with grief and kept striking his head again and again. Distraught, he went to Kumbhakarna and awakened him by many methods.
