नाथ न रथ नहिं तन पद त्राना। केहि बिधि जितब बीर बलवाना॥ सुनहु सखा कह कृपानिधाना। जेहिं जय होइ सो स्यंदन आना॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
nātha na ratha nahiṃ tana pada trānā। kehi bidhi jitaba bīra balavānā॥ sunahu sakhā kaha kṛpānidhānā। jehiṃ jaya hoi so syandana ānā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
O Lord, you have no chariot, no armor to protect the body, and no shoes either. How can the mighty warrior Ravan be conquered? Lord Rama, the treasure of mercy, said: O friend, listen. The chariot by which victory is won is a different one.
