कोपि कपिन्ह दुर्घट गढ़ु घेरा। नगर कोलाहलु भयउ घनेरा॥ बिबिधायुध धर निसिचर धाए। गढ़ ते पर्बत सिखर ढहाए॥ ५ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

kopi kapinha durghaṭa gaṛhu gherā। nagara kolāhalu bhayau ghanerā॥ bibidhāyudha dhara nisicara dhāe। gaṛha te parabata sikhara ḍhāhāe॥ 5 ॥

Meaning

The monkeys angrily surrounded the formidable fort. A great uproar arose in the city. The demons rushed out bearing many kinds of weapons, and from the fort they sent the mountain peaks crashing down.
