भेरि नफीरि बाज सहनाई। मारू राग सुभट सुखदाई॥ केहरि नाद बीर सब करहीं। निज निज बल पौरुष उच्चरहीं॥ ५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bheri naphīri bāja sahanāī। mārū rāga subhaṭa sukhadāī॥ kehari nāda bīra saba karahīṃ। nija nija bala pauruṣa uccarahīṃ॥ 5 ॥
Meaning
The war-drums, trumpets, and shehnais resounded with the Maru melody, pleasing to warriors. All the heroes roared like lions and proclaimed their own strength and valor.
