तेहि आश्रमहिं मदन जब गयऊ। निज मायाँ बसंत निरमयऊ॥ कुसुमित बिबिध बिटप बहुरंगा। कूजहिं कोकिल गुंजहिं भृंगा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tehi āśramahiṃ madana jaba gayau। nija māyāṃ basanta niramayau॥ kusumita bibidha biṭapa bahuraṅgā। kūjahiṃ kokila guñjahiṃ bhṛṅgā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
When Kamadeva entered that hermitage, he produced spring there by his illusion. Trees of many kinds burst into multicolored bloom; cuckoos began to call, and bees hummed on the flowers.
