तातें मैं तोहि बरजउँ राजा। कहें कथा तव परम अकाजा॥ छठें श्रवन यह परत कहानी। नास तुम्हार सत्य मम बानी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tāteṃ maiṃ tohi barajauṃ rājā। kaheṃ kathā tava parama akājā॥ chaṭheṃ śravana yaha parata kahānī। āsa tumhāra satya mama bānī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Therefore I forbid you, O king. Telling this story would bring you great harm. If this tale reaches the sixth ear, your ruin will come—know my words to be true.
