तकि तकि तीर महीस चलावा। करि छल सुअर सरीर बचावा॥ प्रगटत दुरत जाइ मृग भागा। रिस बस भूप चलेउ सँग लागा॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

taki taki tīra mahīsa calāvā। kari chala suara sarīra bacāvā॥ pragaṭata durata jāi mṛga bhāgā। risa basa bhūpa caleu saṅga lāgā॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

The king kept shooting arrows one after another, but the boar evaded them by trickery and saved its body. The animal would appear and disappear as it fled, and the king, driven by anger, kept following close behind it.
