तदपि कही गुर बारहिं बारा। समुझि परी कछु मति अनुसारा॥ भाषाबद्ध करबि मैं सोई। मोरें मन प्रबोध जेहिं होई॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tadapi kahī gura bārahiṃ bārā। samujhi parī kachu mati anusārā॥ bhāṣābaddha karabi maiṃ soī। moreṃ mana prabodha jehiṃ hoī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Even so, when my guru told the story again and again, I understood a little according to my capacity. I shall now compose it in language, so that my mind may be awakened.
