सुमति भूमि थल हृदय अगाधू। बेद पुरान उदधि घन साधू॥ बरषहिं राम सुजस बर बारी। मधुर मनोहर मंगलकारी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sumati bhūmi thala hṛdaya agādhū। beda purāna udadhi ghana sādhū॥ baraṣahiṃ rāma sujasa bara bārī। madhura manohara maṅgalakārī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Good and pure understanding is the ground, the heart its deep place; the Vedas and Puranas are the ocean, and the saints are the clouds. Those saintly clouds rain down the beautiful, sweet, delightful, and auspicious waters of Rama's fame.
