सुदिन सोधि कल कंकन छोरे। मंगल मोद बिनोद न थोरे॥ नित नव सुखु सुर देखि सिहाहीं। अवध जन्म जाचहिं बिधि पाहीं॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sudina sodhi kala kankan chhore। maṅgala moda binoda na thorẽ॥ nita nava sukhu sura dekhi sihāhīṃ। avadha janma jāchahiṃ bidhi pāhīṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
After choosing an auspicious day, the bracelets were loosened and removed. Blessing, joy, and delight were in no short supply. Seeing ever-new happiness like this, even the gods marvel, and they pray to Brahma for birth in Ayodhya.
