सेन संग चतुरंग अपारा। अमित सुभट सब समर जुझारा॥ सेन बिलोकि राउ हरषाना। अरु बाजे गहगहे निसाना॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sena saṃga caturaṃga apārā। amita subhaṭa saba samara jujhārā॥ sena biloki rāu haraṣānā। aru bāje gahagahe nisānā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
He had an immense fourfold army, with countless warriors all eager to fight and die in battle. Seeing the army, the king was delighted, and the war drums thundered.
