संत कहहिं असि नीति प्रभु श्रुति पुरान मुनि गाव। होइ न बिमल बिबेक उर गुर सन किएँ दुराव॥ ४५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
santa kahahiṃ asi nīti prabhu śruti purāna muni gāva। hoi na bimala bibeka ura guru sana kieṃ durāva॥ 45 ॥
Meaning
O Lord, the saints speak thus, and the Vedas, the Puranas, and the sages also say the same: if one hides things from one’s guru, the heart does not become pure in discernment.
