संबत मध्य नास तव होऊ। जलदाता न रहिहि कुल कोऊ॥ नृप सुनि श्राप बिकल अति त्रासा। भै बहोरि बर गिरा अकासा॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sambata madhya nāsa tava hou। jaladātā na rahihi kula kou॥ nṛpa suni śrāpa bikala ati trāsā। bhaī bahori bara girā akāsā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Within a year your destruction shall come; no one in your lineage will remain to offer water. Hearing the curse, the king was overcome with fear and distress. Then another beautiful voice came from the sky—
