संभु कीन्ह यह चरित सुहावा। बहुरि कृपा करि उमहि सुनावा॥ सोइ सिव कागभुसुंडिहि दीन्हा। राम भगत अधिकारी चीन्हा॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

saṃbhu kīnhi yaha carita suhāvā। bahuri kṛpā kari umahiṃ sunāvā॥ soi siva kāgabhusuṃḍihi dīnhā। rāma bhagata adhikārī cīnhā॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

Shiva first composed this delightful narrative and then, in His grace, recounted it to Uma. The same account Shiva gave to Kakabhushundi, recognizing him as a fit devotee of Rama.
