राउ तृषित नहिं सो पहिचाना। देखि सुबेष महामुनि जाना॥ उतरि तुरग तें कीन्ह प्रनामा। परम चतुर न कहेउ निज नामा॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

rāu tṛṣita nahin so pahicānā। dekhi subeṣa mahāmuni jānā॥ utari turaga teṃ kīnha pranāmā। parama catura na kaheu nija nāmā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

Because the king was thirsty, he could not recognize him. Seeing his fine attire, the king took him to be a great sage and, alighting from his horse, bowed to him. But being very shrewd, the king did not reveal his own name.
