रामकथा सुंदर कर तारी। संसय बिहग उड़ावनिहारी॥ रामकथा कलि बिटप कुठारी। सादर सुनु गिरिराजकुमारी॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

rāmakathā sundara kara tārī। saṃsaya biha ga uḍāvani hārī॥ rāmakathā kali biṭapa kuṭhārī। sādara sunu girirājakumārī॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

The story of Rama is a beautiful hand-clap that drives away the birds of doubt. It is also an axe for felling the tree of Kali Yuga. O daughter of Giriraj, listen to it with reverence.
