राम सीय जस सलिल सुधासम। उपमा बीचि बिलास मनोरम॥ पुरइनि सघन चारु चौपाई। जुगुति मंजु मनि सीप सुहाई॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

rāma sīya jasa salila sudhāsama। upamā bīci bilāsa manorama॥ puraini saghana cāru caupāī। juguti mañju mani sīpa suhāī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

The fame of Rama and Sita is water like nectar. The similes in it are the delightful play of waves. The beautiful चौपाइयाँ are the dense water-lilies spread throughout it, and the poetic devices are the lovely shells that produce jewels.
