राम कहा मुनि कहहु बिचारी। रिस अति बड़ि लघु चूक हमारी॥ छुअतहिं टूट पिनाक पुराना। मैं केहि हेतु करौं अभिमाना॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
rāma kahau muni kahahu bicārī। risa ati baṛi laghu cūka hamārī॥ chuatahiṃ ṭūṭa pināka purānā। maiṃ kehi hetu karauṃ abhimānā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Sri Ramchandra said: "O sage, speak after reflecting. Your anger is very great, while my fault is very small. It was an old bow; it broke as soon as it was touched. Why should I feel proud?"
