परम सती असुराधिप नारी। तेहिं बल ताहि न जितहिं पुरारी॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
parama satī asurādhipa nārī। tehiṃ bala tāhi na jitahiṃ purārī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
The demon king’s wife was supremely chaste. Because of her power, even Shiva, destroyer of the invincible Tripurasura, could not conquer that demon.
