मनु हठ परा न सुनइ सिखावा। चहत बारि पर भीति उठावा॥ नारद कहा सत्य सोइ जाना। बिनु पंखन्ह हम चहहिं उड़ाना॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
manu haṭha parā na sunai sikhāvā। cahat bāri para bhīti uṭhāvā॥ nārada kahā satya soi jānā। binu paṃkhanha hama cahahiṃ uḍānā॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
The mind has stubbornly taken hold; it does not listen to instruction and wants to raise a wall on water. Taking what Narad said to be true, I wish to fly without wings.
