मंडपु बिलोकि बिचित्र रचनाँ रुचिरताँ मुनि मन हरे। निज पानि जनक सुजान सब कहुँ आनि सिंघासन धरे॥ कुल इष्ट सरिस बसिष्ट पूजे बिनय करि आसिष लही। कौसिकहि पूजत परम प्रीति कि रीति तौ न परै कही॥
Transliteration (IAST)
maṃḍapu biloki bichitra rachanāṃ ruciratāṃ muni mana hare। nija pāni janaka sujāna saba kahuṃ āni siṃghāsana dhare॥ kula iṣṭa sarisa basiṣṭa pūje binaya kari āsiṣ lahī। kau sikahiṃ pūjata parama prīti ki rīti tau na parai kahī॥
Meaning
Seeing the pavilion, its wondrous construction and beauty charmed the sages' minds. Wise King Janaka personally brought and placed thrones for everyone. He worshiped Vasishtha as one would worship the family deity and received his blessings with humility. And as for the supreme affection shown while honoring Kaushika, it cannot even be fully described.
