लै अगवान बरातहि आए। दिए सबहि जनवास सुहाए॥ मैनाँ सुभ आरती सँवारी। संग सुमंगल गावहिं नारी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
lai agavāna barātahi āe। die sabahi janavāsa suhāe॥ maināṃ subha āratī saṃvārī। saṅga sumaṅgala gāvahiṃ nārī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The welcome party brought the baraat in and gave everyone pleasant lodging places. Maina, Parvati's mother, arranged the auspicious aarti, and the women with her began to sing sweet songs of good omen.
