लच्छन धाम राम प्रिय सकल जगत आधार। गुरु बसिष्ट तेहि राखा लछिमन नाम उदार॥ १९७ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
lacchana dhāma rāma priya sakala jagata ādhāra। guru basiṣṭa tehi rākhā lachimana nāma udāra॥ 197 ॥
Meaning
The one who is the abode of auspicious marks, dear to Rama, and the support of the whole world—Guru Vasishtha gave him the noble name Lakshmana.
