कीरति सरित छहूँ रितु रूरी। समय सुहावनि पावनि भूरी॥ हिम हिमसैलसुता सिव ब्याहू। सिसिर सुखद प्रभु जनम उछाहू॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

kīrati sarita chahūṃ ritu rūrī। samaya suhāvani pāvani bhūrī॥ hima himasailasutā siva byāhū। sisira sukhada prabhu janama uchāhū॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

This river of fame is beautiful in all six seasons. At all times it is lovely and exceedingly pure. The wedding of Shiva and Parvati is like the winter season, and the joyous celebration of Lord Rama’s birth is like the pleasant season of winter.
