कौसल्या जब बोलन जाई। ठुमुकु ठुमुकु प्रभु चलहिं पराई॥ निगम नेति सिव अंत न पावा। ताहि धरै जननी हठि धावा॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

kausalyā jaba bolana jāī। ṭhumuku ṭhumuku prabhu calahiṃ parāī॥ nigama neti siva anta na pāvā। tāhi dharai jananī haṭhi dhāvā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

When Kaushalya comes to call Him, the Lord runs away with tiny, toddling steps. He whom the Vedas describe as 'neti' ('not this') and whose end even Shiva could not find, the mother rushes after Him in stubborn pursuit.
