कह तापस नृप ऐसेइ होऊ। कारन एक कठिन सुनु सोऊ॥ कालउ तुअ पद नाइहि सीसा। एक बिप्रकुल छाड़ि महीसा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kaha tāpasa nṛpa aisei hū। kārana eka kaṭhina sūnu soū॥ kālau tua pada nāihi sīsā। eka biprakula chāṛi mahīsā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The ascetic said, “So be it, O king. Yet there is one difficult condition; listen to it too. O lord of the earth, even Time will bow his head at your feet, except for one brahmin family.”
