कबिकुल जीवनु पावन जानी। राम सीय जसु मंगल खानी॥ तेहि ते मैं कछु कहा बखानी। करन पुनीत हेतु निज बानी॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kabikula jīvanu pāvana jānī। rāma sīya jasu maṅgala khānī॥ tehi teṃ maiṃ kachu kahā bakhānī। karana punīta hetu nija bānī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Knowing the fame of Rama and Sita to be the life of the poetical lineage and a mine of auspiciousness, I have spoken this little in praise of it, in order to purify my own speech.
