जनक पाटमहिषी जग जानी। सीय मातु किमि जाइ बखानी॥ सुजसु सुकृत सुख सुंदरताई। सब समेटि बिधि रची बनाई॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
janaka pāṭamahiṣī jaga jānī। sīya mātu kimi jāi bakhānī॥ sujasu sukṛta sukha suṃdaratāī। saba sameṭi bidhi racī banāī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Janaka’s world-renowned chief queen, the mother of Sita, cannot possibly be described. Gathering together fame, merit, joy, and beauty, the Creator fashioned her with care.
