जगत पिता रघुपतिहि बिचारी। भरि लोचन छबि लेहु निहारी॥ सुंदर सुखद सकल गुन रासी। ए दोउ बंधु संभु उर बासी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jagata pitā raghupatihi bicārī। bhari locana chabi lehu nihārī॥ sundara sukhada sakala guna rāsī। e dou baṃdhu saṃbhu ura bāsī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Consider Lord Raghunath as the Father of the universe, and gaze upon His beauty with eyes full of tears. These two brothers are beautiful, bliss-giving, and filled with every virtue; they dwell in Shiva’s heart.
Context
This is Chaupai 2, Under Doha 246 from Bal Kand, in the episode “Vishvamitra Enters the Assembly”. The episode describes Vishvamitra entering the great assembly with Rama and Lakshmana, each beholder seeing the princes according to their own devotion.
