हिमगिरि गुहा एक अति पावनि। बह समीप सुरसरी सुहावनि॥ आश्रम परम पुनीत सुहावा। देखि देवरिषि मन अति भावा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
himagiri guhā eka ati pāvani। baha samīpa surasarī suhāvani॥ āśrama parama punīta suhāvā। dekhi devariṣi mana ati bhāvā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
There was a very sacred cave in the Himalaya mountain. Near it flowed a beautiful Surasarī (the heavenly river). The hermitage was supremely pure and lovely. Seeing it, the devarshi was greatly pleased in his heart.
