हर गन मुनिहि जात पथ देखी। बिगत मोह मन हरष बिसेषी॥ अति सभीत नारद पहिं आए। गहि पद आरत बचन सुनाए॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

hara gana munihi jāta patha dekhī। bigata moha mana haraṣa biśeṣī॥ ati sabhīta nārada pahiṃ āe। gahi pada ārata bacana sunāe॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

When Shiva's attendants saw the sage walking along the road, freed from delusion and especially joyful in mind, they were greatly frightened and came to Narada, clasping his feet and speaking in humble words.
