एक बार जननीं अन्हवाए। करि सिंगार पलनाँ पौढ़ाए॥ निज कुल इष्टदेव भगवाना। पूजा हेतु कीन्ह अस्नाना॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
eka bāra jananīṃ anhavāe। kari siṃgāra palanāṃ pauṛhāe॥ nija kula iṣṭadeva bhagavānā। pūjā hetu kīna asnānā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Once the mother bathed Shri Ramchandra, adorned him, and laid him in the cradle. Then she bathed herself for the worship of her family's chosen deity, the Lord.
