एहि बिधि सिसुबिनोद प्रभु कीन्हा। सकल नगरबासिन्ह सुख दीन्हा॥ लै उछंग कबहुँक हलरावै। कबहुँ पालने घालि झुलावै॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

ehi bidhi sisubinoda prabhu kīnhā। sakala nagarabāsinha sukha dīnhā॥ lai uchaṃga kabahuṃka halarāvai। kabahuṃ pālane ghāli jhulāvai॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

In this way Lord Rama enacted childlike sports and gave joy to all the people of the city. Sometimes Kaushalya would take him in her lap and rock him, and sometimes lay him in the cradle and swing him.
