ध्यानु प्रथम जुग मखबिधि दूजें। द्वापर परितोषत प्रभु पूजें॥ कलि केवल मल मूल मलीना। पाप पयोनिधि जन मन मीना॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dhyānu prathama juga makhabidhi dūjeṃ। dvāpara paritoṣata prabhu pūjeṃ॥ kali kevala mala mūla malīnā। pāpa payonidhi jana mana mīnā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
In the first age, the Lord is pleased by meditation; in the second age, by sacrifice; and in the Dvapara age, by worship. But Kali is nothing but the root of impurity; in it, the human mind is like a fish in the ocean of sin, never wanting to leave it.
