देखि लोग सब भए सुखारे। एकटक लोचन चलत न तारे॥ हरषे जनकु देखि दोउ भाई। मुनि पद कमल गहे तब जाई॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dekhi loga saba bhae sukhāre। ekaṭaka locana calata na tāre॥ haraṣe janaku dekhi dou bhāī। muni pada kamala gahe taba jāī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Seeing them, everyone became delighted. Their eyes were fixed; the pupils did not move. Janaka rejoiced on seeing the two brothers. Then he went and took hold of the sage's lotus feet.
Context
This is Chaupai 2, Under Doha 244 from Bal Kand, in the episode “Vishvamitra Enters the Assembly”. The episode describes Vishvamitra entering the great assembly with Rama and Lakshmana, each beholder seeing the princes according to their own devotion.
