चारिउ भाइ सुभायँ सुहाए। नगर नारि नर देखन धाए॥ कोउ कह चलन चहत हहिं आजू। कीन्ह बिदेह बिदा कर साजू॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
cāriu bhāi subhāyaṃ suhāe। nagara nāri nara dekhana dhāe॥ kou kaha calana cahata hahiṃ ājū। kīnha bideha bidā kara sājū॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The four brothers, beautiful by nature, were so charming that the men and women of the city ran out to see them. Some said, “Today they are about to depart. Videha has made all the farewell arrangements.”
