ब्रह्मसभाँ हम सन दुखु माना। तेहि तें अजहुँ करहिं अपमाना॥ जौं बिनु बोलें जाहु भवानी। रहइ न सीलु सनेहु न कानी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
brahmasabhāṃ hama sana dukhu mānā। tehiṃ tē ajahuṃ karahiṃ apamānā॥ joṃ binu boleṃ jāhu bhavānī। rahai na sīlu sanehu na kānī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Once, in Brahma's assembly, they took offense at me, and because of that they still insult me. O Bhavani, if you go without being invited, then neither dignity nor affection, nor proper decorum, will remain.
