अपर हेतु सुनु सैलकुमारी। कहउँ बिचित्र कथा बिस्तारी॥ जेहि कारन अज अगुन अरूपा। ब्रह्म भयउ कोसलपुर भूपा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
apara hetu sunu sailakumārī। kahauṃ bicitra kathā bistārī॥ jehi kārana aja aguna arūpā। brahma bhayau kosalapura bhūpā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
O daughter of the mountain-king, listen now to the second reason for the Lord’s descent. I shall tell the wondrous story in विस्तार: by that cause, the unborn, attributeless, formless Brahman became the king of Kosala, Ayodhya.
