ते पितु मातु धन्य जिन्ह जाए। धन्य सो नगरु जहाँ तें आए॥ धन्य सो देसु सैलु बन गाऊँ। जहँ जहँ जाहिं धन्य सोइ ठाऊँ॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

te pitu mātu dhanya jinha jāe। dhanya so nagaru jahāṃ teṃ āe॥ dhanya so desu sailu bana gāūṃ। jahaṃ jahaṃ jāhiṃ dhanya soi ṭhāūṃ॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

They say, “Blessed are those father and mother who gave birth to them. Blessed is the city from which they came. Blessed is that land, hill, forest, and village; blessed is every place wherever they go.”
