सुनि सनेहमय पुरजन बानी। निंदहिं जोग बिरति मुनि ग्यानी॥ एहि बिधि नित्यकरम करि पुरजन। रामहि करहिं प्रनाम पुलकि तन॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
suni sanehamaya purajana bānī। nindahiṃ joga birati muni gyānī॥ ehi bidhi nityakarma kari purajana। rāmahi karahiṃ pranāma pulaki tana॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Hearing the loving speech of the people of the city, even the wise sages find themselves praising devotion more than yoga and renunciation. In this way, after performing their daily duties, the townspeople bow to Rama with bodies thrilled in devotion.
