सीलसिंधु सुनि गुर आगवनू। सिय समीप राखे रिपुदवनू॥ चले सबेग रामु तेहि काला। धीर धरम धुर दीनदयाला॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sīlasindhu suni guru āgavanū। siya samīpa rākhe ripudavanū॥ cale sabega rāmu tehi kālā। dhīra dharama dhura dīnadayālā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
On hearing of the guru’s arrival, Rama, the ocean of virtue, had the enemy-destroyer placed near Sita and immediately set out with speed, O steadfast, righteous, compassionate Lord.
